·         To be able to acquire knowledge on how Robert will enhance his presentations to the Technology-buying group.

IV.          ALTERNATIVES COURSE OF ACTION
Strategy 1: Modified Presentation tool ver. A – In this 1st presentation tool he can use Visual Aids. This kind of tool allows the salesperson to involve more one or more of the buyer’s senses in the presentation and it also help to illustrate features and benefits.

Pross: This tool can be done by a Slideshow or a PowerPoint. This has the most popular tool that every presenter has done. It adds clarity and dramatization to impact the effectiveness for sales presentations.
Cons: In doing Slideshow we can edit more easily and by these they are some Slides that are not appropriate for the nature of proposal that he should use. Especially the colors there are some scenarios that the presenter will make his slides, pictures and Color of the text has the same color and this will make the slideshow more difficult to understand.

Mental Processes of people

Social Perception is like a psychology, it is a part of perception that allows people to understand individuals and groups of their social world. It also allows people to determine how others affect their personal lives. In mental processes of people, people usually use these devices to deal with sensory information and play a major role in creating perceptual problems. Or it is know as a “defensive Behavior”.
4 Devices:
a.     Denial - a statement saying that something is not true or not correct. Or some information that we usually cannot take or too painful to hear, or even we don’t want to be embarrassed. We often to Deny the statement to avoid hurting ourselves, or It’s too hard to accept.
Examples:
·         her continued denial of the story
·         a denial of justice
·         She's in denial.

b.    Stereotyping - Classifying people because of one unique characteristic. Stereotyping is a form of prejudice that can form damaging images of people because of a particular characteristic without having any knowledge of the person. One perspective of stereotyping is that there are the concepts of ingroups and outgroups. From each individual's perspective, ingroups are viewed as normal and superior, and are generally the group that they already associate with, or aspire to join. While outgroup is simply all the other groups. They are seen as lesser than or inferior to the in-groups
Examples:
·         Asians are smarter than Americans -because their education systems are more strict than that of the Americans.

c.       Halo Effect- generalization from one good trait, the tendency to judge somebody as being totally good because one aspect of his or her character is good.
Examples:
·         If a chef is famous for making one particular dish, then the halo effect allows people to assume that he can cook anything with equal proficiency.

d.      Projection Bias- it is to project our own faults onto others instead of making an objective consideration of the situation. They also assume that others can do things as well as you.
Example:
·         Someone who likes dogs might assume that all people like dogs, or an unfaithful spouse might conclude that everyone is unfaithful, since this would reflect his or her own experiences.

“The Study of art is also the study of man/human”.

We may have different explanation about this quotation “The Study of art is also the study of man/human”. Since the human existed we believed that everything is a miracle. But everything what we see, what we touch & what we feel is an art. Art is a very broad word; it is a symbol that gives every single thing a meaning. There are also theories that informed us that we were made by a painting, a sand, made by God & we came from a Monkey emerged from ancestral species. From the emerge in our features the fossilized record of our body (bone) which is found in an ancient time. Art is almost certainly important and has a place on this to consider when wondering about the evolution of our species. We may classify it into different genre like, art for emotional, intellectual, physical, photography, senses, literature and so on. We humans, our generation continues to evolved and by that art also is evolving. It tends to diverse human activities, expression and creations, including music, clothing, fashion, and maybe attitude. Just like me I also have a hard time defining “What is art”. But really, an art makes my life colorful, as time goes by. For me life would not exist if there’s no art. Everything is in a circle, if human continues to live also does art.

BIBLE TEXT (reaction)

A.) James 1:2-3
My brothers and sisters, you will have many kinds of troubles. But when these things happen, you should be very happy. Why? Because you know that these things are testing your faith. And this will give you patience.”

B.)       Yes, I do perform this role that God has wanted me to do. In the way that I have faced so many trials and obstacles in life, as what my parents told me, “God will never put you in that situation if you cannot handle/carry it”  this are only the challenges that God wanted me to face. I think it is for the better, to lead and build me as a true Christian, follower and believer. As what this text means everything will be done If you believe and you will get anything you ask for in prayer. Patience is the key to success.

C.)       As a good follower, I must be a believer and with this belief it is my obligation to do my duties as a neighbor or brother and sisters to everyone. And by these duties I developed, coped and be responsible for my brothers and sisters. And I’m so lucky to have this knowledge; with this I can share the word or God. To let people think that there’s still hope if they believe.

What are your memorable/challenging moments in your family?

What are your memorable moments in your family?

Family, as what people defined it is the basic unit of the society. The most memorable, as far as I always remember when we go to church every Sunday, early in the morning my dad keeps waking me up exactly at 4 in the morning to get ready. The times that we always go to mall and my dad want me to choose whatever I want and he’s the one who will pay for it. That time’s that we keep going back to Pampanga and Bohol in a complete family we always have a vacation every two-year. Also every night when I’m sleeping besides them is the most treasurable experiences ever; I don’t know what to do if they do not exist in this world. Those words that my papa always repeating it to me “nak, dalawa lang kayo mag kapatid na buo ang dugo dito sa mundo at iisa lamang ang ating pamilya, kaya wag nyong sayangin ang mga oras na mag kasama kayo, At dapat hindi tayo mag away-away.” Also that time that my dad keeps on tickling me, and I laugh as loud as I can. And every morning he kisses me to wake me up and when we fought, it doesn’t exceed in a day. My mama and papa’s hug and kisses, the protection the emotion and the physical contact will always rely on us, I owe them my life and heart and I respected them. They are the perfect role in my life my strength and weaknesses.

What are the challenging moments in your family?

The challenging moments that I encounter are the times when in a family or in a relationship fighting is the one that cannot be avoided. Last time I checked that when when my dad got back to his bisyo like drinking and smoking, especially this two but for smoking, he’s been avoiding the smoke’s of the cigarette for him to control himself to use one. But unfortunately he got back, and the alcohol one day I remember he came home late then he was drunk and throwing things all of sudden, he was kicking us and he told us hurtful words. And I also remember that my dad’s job is not that stable it can disappear in one click. Because his income depends only to the numbers of customers, so sometimes we have been experiencing financial crisis and I need to sacrifice sometimes to go to school without any allowance. And as what I observed now, were lacking harmony to our family it’s been months since we go to church with a complete member and that’s hurting me. And my little brother, as he growing he’s changing his attitude and been influenced by his ugly friends. It also hurts me, because when my brother doing these things my papa felt so depressed and that’s also the times that he use cigarette. I don’t want to let my dad and mom hurt by someone, because when they’re hurt, I also felt that way.

Green Environment: Improving Your Environment

from: Living in a green environment is possible. It does not have to be expensive to create and it does not have to take away from the quality of life you have now. In fact, many people find that once they make some simple changes to their life they can live a life they are more proud. You do not have to make any changes drastically either. Green environment living happens slowly, at a speed you are comfortable with. What is important is that you do take the time to make small changes so that big results on a planet-sized scale can be seen.

Making Small Decisions For A Green Environment

Where can you make changes to improve the environment you are living in? Here are several small things you can do to improve your green environment.

• Invest in an extra garbage can to place soda cans in for recycling. Simply empty the bag when it gets full and drop off at your local fire station or recycling bin.
• Change out the light bulbs you are currently using to florescent bulbs, which use less energy and they last for years (this is a huge cost savings for most people!)
• Place a box in your den for newspaper. Drop in junk mail, newspapers and magazines once you are done with them. Drop them off at the local recycling bin once every few weeks.
• Keep your car's maintenance up. Not only will this improve the car's performance for you, it will also improve your gas mileage giving you more fuel for the same amount of money and in turn cutting down your dependence on oil.
• Turn off the TV for a full day each week. Do things with the family instead. Activities like sports, playing at the park or just spending time together with some board games will bring families together and it cuts down on electricity use.
• Raise your air conditioning thermostat by 2 degrees or lower the heating thermostat by 2 degrees to see a large difference in your energy bills and to help lessen your dependency.
• Start a garden and grow your own, organic vegetables. You will save money from the garden and you will reduce your dependency on trucked in foods with pesticides. Do not have room for a garden? Use pots on a deck.

As you can see, a green environment is very possible and very easy to do. You do not have to do many big things to see big results. Green environment changes like this are just the start of all you can do to improve your quality of life.

My REACTION
" Dirty environment to Clean environment"

Disposing Waste is also one of the problems of the economy, people are suffering from the harm it gets. It can cause a lot pain through the bacteria's that we get. Do you Know that we are not the only one who is affected when we do not segregate our garbage/ waste?one solution we can do is to recycle garbage's. first we should have a knowledge about how to segregate our waste from biodegradable and non-biodegradable.  many people do not recycle and it is slowly killing our Earth we call home. When you are at your house or apartment or dorm do you take your trash and just throw it on the floor when finished? Well that is essentially what we are doing when we chose not to recycle. Recycling 1 Ton of papers save 17 mature trees, 7 thousand gallons of water, 3 cubic yards of landfill space, 2 bears of oil, and 4 thousand kilo watts hour of electricity. That’s enough energy to power your home for five months. Our planets and more importantly Philippines natural resources are not endless, and if we don’t conserve them and use them wisely weather in 1 thousand or 10 thousand years were gonna ran out. Recycling is extremely important to the present and the future of well-being of our planet and to be practice daily.

Recycling is the conversion of waste into were usable materials, people who recycle help to conserve the planet natural resources by many fracturing new products from product that have already use. Recycling should be common sense to everyone, because were all sharing our one planet natural resources. A lot of people well most people should know what recycling is. But a lot of people don’t know what can and cannot be recycled. Most plastic, papers and metals can be recycled. Glass, batteries and electronics can also be recycled but it can be tricky to find somewhere that would accept them. A lot of recycling plans will not accept batteries and electronics, so it might be hard to find, you know the places that will accept them. But it needs to be done; because it can be done. Compostable materials are extremely important to do that. Why would you throw away vegetables, scraps? And extra garbage of left over foods.

See if we continue to recycle, we can help a lot of people especially those people who are working in the "garbage field". I know many of you are thinking, but what am I supposed to do. I’m merely a single college student with no voice. But there are various ways to make things different.
  • §     We need to show that recycling bins and pick-ups should be alongside every garbage can on campus. I don’t want to blame the lack of recycling on you, because there is a lack of opportunity. But I WILL blame a lack of change on the amount we recycle on you. We all need to take a stand for what we believe is right. For what we know is right.
  • §  We can also start at our home. For example the cans of Sprite, coke, Pepsi and etc. can be recycled. We can make this a pencil holder or any office utensils, so we can save less money. Then we can create our designs. Well it can also help to enhance our creativeness.
It seems that recycling is becoming the wave of the future. It is so easy to recycle household goods and takes so little time. If you live in the dorms, you have the opportunity to recycle. I hope you don’t sit by and watch our Earth turn into a ball of trash. Stand up for what you know is right. Voice your opinion. And let your actions speak louder than your words. Next time you pick up that Exponent or take a drink out of that bottle, make a conscious effort to find a recycling bin, not a trash can. This is for everyone who is interested in living a clean environment.

If we have "clean Environment" we have "Happy Earth"

Music as a therapy

Informative Speech

Specific Purpose: at the end of my delivery, my audience will be informed about how music can be therapy, and beneficial to our health.
Thesis Statement: Music is an essential part of our lives and is important to the development and health of your body.

Introduction:
I. Attention of the Audience: I will play a song with a violin just before my speech starts to serve as my introduction.

• “Music is life”, “Music is everything”, and “music is love”. These are some famous quotes that people frequently use when talking about music. I don’t think there’s a person who is not interested in music or neither had he/she ever been listening to music. If there’s one, I’m sure it’s pathetically a lie.

II. Reveals the topic of the Speech: Music therapy is an interpersonal process in which the therapist uses music and all of its facets—physical, emotional, mental, social, aesthetic, and spiritual—to help clients to improve or maintain their health. In some instances, the client's needs are addressed directly through music; in others they are addressed through the relationships that develop between the client and therapist.

III. Credibility and goodwill: Music therapy is used with individuals of all ages and with a variety of conditions, including: psychiatric disorders, medical problems, developmental disabilities, interpersonal problems, and aging. It is also used to: improve learning, build self-esteem, reduce stress, support physical exercise, and facilitate a host of other health-related activities. I’ve been listening, loving and appreciating music since my younger days, I tend to learn how to play musical instruments e.g. violin, viola, little bit cello and guitar. I so love string instruments. It feels like I’m attached to it or something. But it really turns out that our family is “musically inclined” except for my mother though. Regardless I’ve always surrounded myself with music and to go different places to perform as an orchestra.

IV. Internal preview: Today I will deliver about how music can be a healing drug with its physical and emotional benefits. Just like me, I always bring my headset with an mp3 player wherever I go, like in school or when I am in a jeepney. There are even times when the lyrics keep rolling in my head over and over again. Later on, I’ll start singing with then somebody starts copying, thus produces a duet and so on. It just proves that music is really part of our daily routine.

Body:

There are a lot of theories regarding music. Nevertheless, I strongly agree that music has existed since the beginning of the human civilization but it took years for it to be discovered and that music will still be around as long as we are alive. As long as we have our emotions that give us inspiration and courage, the music also changes it emotion. Though there are many different kinds of music, it is only one and the same. The music is one and only though we call them by different names. It is just a part of the whole music.

Music is a universal language because it can help people to communicate and express themselves. It Crosses Cultural Boundaries and link us to the different races around the globe. Music involved different types or (GENRE). This include Classical music, it makes us to remember about the past, the memories and the people who are close to us. Hip-hop, rocks, pop and rap makes us happy so that we tend to rescue our self from sadness and sorrows. RNB, mellow, and love songs make our mood to feel lightly, it feels like your were inspired and loved by someone. There is the so called “k-POP” which is very popular to Teen Listener nowadays. Regardless which music genre you belong, music plays a vital role in the development of Intellectual, psychological, emotional & Spiritual behavior of a human being.

Music has so many physical benefits it should be considered an essential element of life. Is has a strong power that might change or effect your mood, it can reduce stress and stimulate your brain cells. Music is important in our brain cells, music tend to heal, recover and develop our cells to enhance our intellect. Music also referred to as a drug because it has the ability to make a human happy and produce emotion rather than these amusing drugs that can cause beneficiary to our health and lives. We continue to explore, improvise and be creative in terms of music; it makes people calm even if they are not in the mood of polite manner and causes us to become relaxed. Music is also a great way to learn ideas.

CONCLUSION
Finally, Music helps to stimulate the flow of powerful endorphins what lift a mood and create a great feeling of well being and a great form of meditation. This is why music is a great form of therapy.
